The Aubrey MDD is extending an invitation and opportunity to area business owners and entrepreneurs in the Aubrey area or who are members of the Aubrey 380 Area Chamber of Commerce to attend one or both of these very informative sessions during the Aubrey Local Business Accelerator Program.

Feb. 4th – Launching Your Local Business in Aubrey – Navigating the opening of your brick-and-mortar business from site selection to permit requirements and local incentives and resources available for businesses. Guest speakers and panelists are from TWU Center for Women Entrepreneurs, SCORE, City of Aubrey, Aubrey MDD, and local commercial brokers.  

Feb. 11th – Franchise Fundamentals – Panel discussion exploring the pros and cons of owning a franchise vs. independent ownership, as well as some great business advice from experienced local entrepreneurs. Speakers include business owners and representatives from County Road Burgers, Beth Marie’s Old Fashioned Ice Cream & Soda Fountain, and FranNet.

The sessions provide valuable information from experienced guest speakers. The sessions will be informative and will help you grow your business knowledge and network with other local businesses. Sessions start at 6 pm and the speakers will cover the topic for about 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Sessions are held in the Community Center at 226 Countryside Drive, Aubrey, TX 76227.

Businesses, start-ups, and entrepreneurs in the Aubrey area who are members of the Chamber are eligible to apply.
